How to Use Double-Sided Tape to Adhere a Photo with Michelle Hartjes
When we scrapbook we will usually want to adhere at least one photo on our page. This method is quick and easy and won’t be too hard on your scrapping budget.
What You Need: • Cardstock or patterned paper • Photo • Double-sided tape • Scissors
Step 1
Firstly, you will need to take your photo and turn it over so that the image is facing down.
Step 2 Take your double-sided tape and cut a piece that is around the same length as one side of your photo. Stick this piece down onto your photo. Rub along the strip of tape to ensure that it is stuck down onto the photo. You will then need to repeat this step for the other sides of your photo. If you would like to know about other adhesives that can be used, please see the video What Adhesive to Use for Your Projects.
Step 3
The next step is to remove the covering from the tape and discard. If you don’t have long fingernails, tweezers can help in this step.
Step 4
Now, take your patterned paper or cardstock, flip your photo over and carefully and slowly, position your photo on your page. The double-sided tape is very sticky and you could damage your paper by trying to remove your photo once it has been stuck down.
Step 5
Finally, rub around the edges of your photo to make sure that it is stuck down.
