What to Use to Adhere Paper & Photos
with Michelle Hartjes

One activity you will do a lot of in scrapbooking is adhering paper and photos to your pages and projects. So it is important to use the right adhesive for the job.

What we recommend:
For photos and paper always use a double-sided tape or a tape runner. It is important to use a dry glue to ensure a smooth finish. A wet glue, such as liquid adhesive can dampen your paper or photos and cause bubbling which does not look so good.

Why do we like it?
I like double-sided tape because it is economical, so easy to use and it has a strong hold so our paper and photos do not easily come off the page.

I use a tape runner when I am doing a class or in a hurry as it is quick and easy, and you do not need to pull off the backing tape.

When I am scrapbooking at home and am not rushed, or doing a lot of scrapbooking, I use the double-sided tape as it is more cost-effective.
