What to Use to Adhere Metal Embellishments
with Michelle Hartjes

There are some beautiful metal embellishments you can find nowadays for your projects. Using the right adhesive will ensure that these heavier objects will not fall of the page but will bond permanently to your project.

What we recommend:
> Pritt Power Gel
> Adhesive dots (Glue dots)

There are a number of different adhesives that you can use for glueing your metal embellishments. You can use adhesive dots which are instant and require no drying time, but sometimes heavier embellishments can still fall off your page or project.

That is why my favorite is the Pritt Power Gel. This is a wet glue and does require to be set aside for drying, but I know that once it dries, the embellishment won't fall off.

How to adhere a metal embellishment with the Pritt Power Gel:
Squeezing the bottle gently, make sure the back of the embellishment to be adhered is well covered with a good amount of the gel, allowing for any bumps and grooves. Then place it down firmly on your project with a little bit of pressure. Make sure you allow enough drying time before use and your metal embellishment should be permanently adhered to your project!
