G

Gel Pen
A ballpoint pen with smooth flowing and water-based gel ink. Ideal for writing that stands out on dark coloured paper. Gel pens are generally acid-free and are readily available in a large range of colours including metallic, glitter, pastels and bright colours.

Genealogy
The study of ancestors of a person or family. Often done to create a family tree or history, or to discover a persons' origins.

Glue Dots
Small blobs of sticky glue available in permanent and re-positionable forms. Great for sticking buttons and embellishments and most glue dots will raise the heigh of the object being glued by a few millimetres. Glue dots are not a wet glue and therefore are perfect when an instant bond is required as no drying time is involved.
